Dawn Lurie Discusses OPT as Way to Hire Foreign Talent in SHRM

SHRM quoted Dawn Lurie in its article, “Consider OPT as One of Many Pathways to Hiring Foreign Talent,” on August 22. Lurie discussed how optional practical training (OPT) is one of several options for temporarily hiring foreign talent and its benefits.

“It is a program in the US that lets F-1 students—international students with a nonimmigrant student visa—work in their field of study for a specified period of time to gain practical experience.”
