Dawn Solowey Discusses How Denying Religious Accommodations Can Lead to Lengthy Litigation in Bloomberg Law
Bloomberg Law quoted Dawn Solowey in its article, “Appeals Courts Limit Employers' Scrutiny of Religious Beliefs,” on January 15. Solowey discussed how employers risk lengthy and costly litigation when they deny religious accommodation requests by doubting the sincerity of workers’ faith-based claims.
“It’s also possible for employers to secure a dismissal because the complaint has to sufficiently allege a religious belief and a conflict with the workplace policy at issue.”
