Erica Bakies to Speak at Special Competitive Studies Project’s AI Expo for National Competitiveness 2024

On Wednesday, May 8,  Erica Bakies, senior counsel in Seyfarth’s Government Contracts practice, will serve as a panelist for the "Navigating Federal Procurement: A Primer for Tech Entrepreneurs" session at the Special Competitive Studies Project’s (SCSP) AI Expo for National Competitiveness 2024.

The panel will discuss contracting with the federal government. The panel is meant to serve as an introduction to federal procurement for small and medium-sized technology companies that are new to the government contracting space. Topics for discussion may also include additional procurement considerations/challenges that may exist in the AI and national security space.
