Australian Financial Review quoted Erin Hawthorne in its article, “States back crackdown on non-disclosure agreements,” on August 13. Hawthorne discussed how restricting NDAs may end up harming those most directly concerned if that is no longer an option.

“If people say they are being paid for their silence – then restricting NDAs could reduce bargaining power for any settlement.”
