Gary Friedman, Kate Perrelli, and Cat Johns Write on Delaware Supreme Court Reviving Employee Choice Doctrine in American Lawyer/Law.com
Seyfarth’s Gary Friedman, Kate Perrelli, and Cat Johns co-authored an article, “Rejuvenation of a Sharp Employer Non-Compete Tool: Delaware Supreme Court Reinvigorates the Employee Choice Doctrine,” in The American Lawyer and Law.com on February 5. The Seyfarth attorneys discussed how a recent court ruling in Delaware may have a major impact on the FTC’s ban last year on non-compete clauses in employee contracts. The article is also scheduled to appear in the New York Law Journal on February 24.
“Post-employment restrictive covenants, once viewed as near fortresses to protect proprietary information, customer and employee relationships, and competitive advantage, are now under heightened scrutiny.”
