Seyfarth’s Greg Markel, Sarah Fedner, and Gershon Akerman co-authored an article, “SEC Administrative Proceedings After SEC v. Jarkesy,” in the September 2024 issue of Practical Law The Journal. The Seyfarth attorneys discussed the potentially major impact of how the US Supreme Court’s decision in SEC v. Jarkesy, which held that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) must bring certain of its enforcement actions in federal court, not through administrative proceedings.
