About the Program

10 years ago to the month, we launched our "If Pain, Yes Gain" article series to track the evolution of what was then a little known area of employment law – Paid Sick Leave mandates. Since October 2013, the rate of change in Paid Sick Leave laws has been astronomical at the federal, state, and local levels, creating compliance confusion for employers across all industries. New laws are being enacted at a steady pace, adding to the already overwhelming multitude of policies employers must contend with – and 2024 will prove no different.

Join us for this important webinar, where our Paid Sick Leave attorneys – and key "If Pain, Yes Gain" contributors – combine their experiences with thorough analysis to discuss:

  • A comprehensive overview of the current Paid Sick Leave Law landscape including recent developments,
  • Top Paid Sick Leave legal developments and compliance challenges for employers in the last 10 years,
  • How the rapid and regular developments in Paid Sick Leave laws have changed compliance advice and counsel for employers covered by one or more such laws, and;
  • A look ahead at what Paid Sick Leave changes are on the horizon and what we expect to see next.
