Part 8: Spotlighting New Mexico and West Hollywood, CA
State and local paid sick leave and other paid time off developments continue to change at exceptional rates. This webinar provides a general overview of the current paid sick leave, paid personal time off, and COVID-19 paid leave landscapes. In addition the two newest paid leave mandates — the New Mexico Healthy Workplaces Act and West Hollywood, CA Compensated Time Off mandate — both begin on July 1, 2022 for all covered private employers (with one exception for West Hollywood hotel employers). This webinar provides an overview of both laws, as well as summaries and thoughts on the latest wave of developments from both jurisdictions, which includes New Mexico FAQs, model posters, and a policy compliance checklist, and West Hollywood amendments and final regulations.
