Investigations into Discrimination Complaints - from a HR Manager Point of View

Thanks to Stefano Beghi’s and Vittorio Franzese’s coordination with the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Leon Mao, Counsel in Seyfarth’s Shanghai office, presented on the topic of “Investigations into Discrimination Complaints - from a HR Manager Point of View.” Held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, guests from 23 companies attended this seminar, which was followed by a panel discussion and case study.

During this seminar, Seyfarth’s Hong Kong and Shanghai legal team provided their insight into conducting investigations of discrimination and harassment complaints brought in Greater China, including key considerations and common pitfalls that employers should be mindful of. Raymond Wong, Managing Partner of Seyfarth China, also shared his knowledge and experience on how to manage local company culture with central principles, while respecting local customs and market practice. HR managers offered their rich experience in dealing with various local HR issues.
