John Egan and Ingrid Manevitz Write on Emotional Support Animals in Housing in Habitat Magazine

Seyfarth’s John Egan and Ingrid Manevitz co-authored an article, “Board v. Dog: A Tangled ESA Standoff,” in the June 2024 edition of Habitat Magazine. The Seyfarth attorneys discussed the New Jersey Supreme Court’s decision in Players Place Condominium Assn. Inc. v. K.P., which illustrates the dangers of taking an overly strident approach to restricting emotional support animals (ESAs), and the importance of engaging in a good faith dialogue with residents who request accommodations.
