Joshua Seidman was quoted in an August 22 story from Bloomberg BNA, "Changes in NY Paid Leave Law, On-Call Rule Could Cost Employers," on how some New York employers could find themselves in a bind if an expanded paid leave law and a revised on-call scheduling rule are both enacted. Seidman said that if the rules become final, employers will take a harder look at their scheduling practices to try to minimize potential effects.
