Katie Schwarting and Rick White to Speak at MBA's 2025 Commercial/Multifamily Finance Servicing and Technology Conference

Katie Schwarting and Rick White will speak at MBA's Commercial/Multifamily Finance Servicing and Technology Conference in Hollywood, Florida on May 18-21.

Katie Schwarting, partner in Seyfarth's Real Estate department and chair of the firm's Servicing & Special Servicing practice group, will serve as a moderator for the session, "Mastering Loan Document Review for Risk and Compliance," on May 20.  Thorough loan document review is essential for compliance and risk mitigation; this session covers key focus areas, escalation protocols, and cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless loan servicing and operational integrity.

Katie will also serve as a moderator for the Closing Super Session on May 21. This session will wrap up the conference with a dynamic discussion on the latest trends and challenges in commercial/multifamily finance servicing.

Rick White, partner in Seyfarth's Corporate department, will serve as a panelist for the session, "Bridging the Gap: Streamlining Default Management and Servicing Transfers," on May 19. With rising default loans, efficient loan transfers between primary, master, and special servicers are more critical than ever; this session covers best practices for default management, role clarity, and effective communication and explores strategies for standardizing processes and improving efficiency in special servicing transfers.
