• How the proliferation and widespread availability of generative artificial intelligence models, such as ChatGPT, have prompted the legal industry to reconsider how attorneys practice law: "That's been a surprise to some degree, but a pleasant surprise. It's exciting to see people really embracing this new technology and thinking about how we can deliver legal services in very different but really innovative ways."
• A strategic approach to lateral partner hires: "Really, the business case created for the lateral transition, and then the execution and accountability for that business case, to me, is the best recipe."
• The high demand for support that clients need on cultural flashpoints (cultural and political issues in the work place): "We'll continue to be laser-focused on the voice of our clients and making sure that we're hearing what they need from us, because they are also living in this uncertain, volatile, unpredictable environment. So we want to make sure that we are meeting their needs and anticipating their needs.”
