Lorie Almon Quoted in Wall Street Journal Article on Law Firms Adapting for a New Administration

Seyfarth chair and managing partner Lorie Almon was prominently quoted in The Wall Street Journal’s January 8 article previewing the year ahead for law firms, “Law Firms Pivot for Trump’s Return.”

Almon told the WSJ that Seyfarth created its Cultural Flashpoints task force in 2023 to help clients navigate workplace challenges and respond to rising pressures for companies to take a stance on social issues. The article stated that “the firm is now marketing the practice anew after the divisiveness of the 2024 election and a backlash against some policies embraced by progressives.” The group helps employers, Almon said, to “lower the temperature” around hot-button social and political issues.
