Lynn Kappelman and Christina Duszlak Write on Managing Trials with Time Limits in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Seyfarth's Lynn Kappelman and Christina Duszlak co-authored an article, "Practical Tips for Managing Trials with Time Limits," in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly on April 8. The Seyfarth attorneys discussed the implications of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court February 2 decision that a Superior Court judge "may set reasonable time limits on parties' presentation of their evidence at trial," as well as practical strategies for managing this new ruling in Superior Court.  

"Time limits can be effective in focusing a case, but parties need to be prepared, plan ahead, communicate with the court, and preserve their objections."
