About the Program

Conducting workplace investigations into sexual harassment claims is challenging, and especially so across borders. Multinational organizations that implement robust, cross-border investigation procedures can significantly lower their risk of facing disputes and legal actions. In our two-part series, Seyfarth partners from around the globe will explore this topic from the perspectives of different jurisdictions.

In Part One of this series, our expert panel will focus on the Americas, the UK, and Europe, guiding attendees through:

  • Navigating Cross-Jurisdictional Challenges: Understanding the key differences in legal frameworks, procedural requirements, and cultural considerations when handling investigations in the US, Mexico, Brazil, UK, France, Italy, and Spain.
  • Employer Risks and Employee Protections: Exploring the heightened risks of non-compliance and critical employee protections in different jurisdictions.
  • Practical Strategies: Providing actionable insights and best practices to mitigate legal exposure while fostering a harassment-free workplace culture.
  • Case Studies: Real-world scenarios to illustrate how multinational organizations can manage harassment investigations effectively across borders.

Stay tuned for your invitation to Part Two, which will delve into cross-border sexual harassment investigations across Asia and Australia.
