Meta Names Seyfarth a 2022 Law Firm Diversity Finalist

Seyfarth’s client Meta Platforms, Inc. has named the firm as one of its Law Firm Diversity Finalists at its 2022 Diversity Champions Awards. Seyfarth ranked 3rd out of Meta’s top 40 legal providers in 2022 as determined by legal spend.

This is the firm’s first year participating in Meta’s legal diversity survey for outside counsel, which considers staffing and leadership opportunities on Meta matters for underrepresented attorneys, diversity of the relationship partners, diversity initiatives at the firm, and diversity of the incoming partner class, among other metrics.

A recognized industry leader in law firm inclusion and diversity, Seyfarth has instituted several award-winning programs designed to cultivate and retain underrepresented groups. The firm launched its own “Rooney Presumption” initiative in 2016 which, inspired by the NFL, has helped improve the hiring of diverse candidates across the firm.
