About the Program
In the seventh session of our Winning Combinations webinar series, Adam Lasky from Seyfarth’s Government Contracts group, together with Joseph Vele from Seyfarth’s People Analytics group, will explore issues that federal contractors face when their federal contract obligations (such as those tied to Executive Orders) conflict with state law requirements. Our presenters will discuss unique defenses that contractors may be able to use to shield themselves from state law liability under these circumstances (such as Derivative Immunity and the Government Contractor Defense), and the strict limits placed on these defenses. Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your understanding of contractor defenses and protect your organization from costly disputes.
