Neil Weisbard and Gabe Eckstein Write on NYC’s New Affordable Housing Tax Exemption Program in The New York Law Journal

Seyfarth’s Neil Weisbard and Gabe Eckstein co-authored an article, “Unpacking ANNY, NYC’s New Affordable Housing Tax Exemption Program,” in The New York Law Journal on June 24. The Seyfarth attorneys discussed the newly implemented Affordable Neighborhoods for New Yorkers (ANNY) program which is intended to bring many of the same property tax benefits for providing affordable housing as the prior program.

“However, the question on everyone’s mind is, will the new minimum wage, administrative requirements and increased application fees, counter the very incentives that the ANNY program was adopted to implement?”
