On August 23, 2013 the OFCCP released its long-awaited revised Federal Contract Compliance Manual (FCCM) which provides OFCCP compliance officers the detailed procedural framework for executing audits and complaint investigations. In essence, the FCCM is the OFCCP’s “how to” guide for compliance officers and, as a result, it provides the best roadmap of what contractors can expect during an audit.
While the news about the FCCM has been somewhat overshadowed by the release of new affirmative action regulations for protected veterans and individuals with disabilities (profiled in our September 3 webinar), the FCCM is a critical source of information and familiarity with it will allow contractors to effectively minimize audit impact and risk.
As the FCCM is more than 500 pages long, this webinar will provide you a shortcut to learning about the most important provisions. Please join us as we enhance your ability to be audit-ready. Specifically, we will discuss the following topics:
- Desk audits
- Onsite reviews
- Corporate management evaluations
- Functional affirmative action plan (FAAP) audits
- Complaint investigations
- Remedies and conciliation agreements
