Patrick Bannon Discusses SCOTUS Decision on Arbitration Causing More Litigation in Bloomberg Law

Bloomberg Law quoted Patrick Bannon in its article, “Supreme Court’s Arbitration Ruling Invites Even More Litigation,” on April 16. Bannon discussed the US Supreme Court’s decision last week which revived a proposed wage-and-hour class action by baked goods delivery drivers, setting the stage for more judicial showdowns over which classes of workers are subject to mandatory arbitration agreements.

“I don’t think the Supreme Court is looking to make this into a broad exemption. I think the Supreme Court will keep it pretty tight.”
