Paul Pryzant was quoted in a November 12 story from Mergermarket, “Strategic buyers increasingly dangle earnouts to win deals.” Pryzant said he has seen a number of deals that were put on hold due to the pandemic but are now able to close after restructuring, including by using an earnout or an equity rollover to overcome disagreements on deal price.
