Webinar Recording: Pay Equity - Looking Ahead to 2021, with a Deep Dive into the Colorado Equal Pay Law
The co-chairs of Seyfarth’s Pay Equity Group presented a webinar to discuss the biggest trends in pay equity that will impact employers in 2021. In the on-demand webinar, linked below, the presenters:
- Take a deep dive into Colorado’s “Equal Pay for Equal Work Act”. Critical portions of this law are effective January 1, 2021. On January 1st, Colorado will become the only jurisdiction that will affirmatively require employers to provide pay scale information on certain job postings and will require employers to post job opportunities, including in-line promotions. We discuss what is required, and how to comply with the new law in January 2021.
- Discuss some of the other major trends in pay equity this year, including the new California pay report, which will be due on March 31, 2021, and some new state salary history ban laws.
- Provide some additional information on new global pay reporting laws coming in 2021 and beyond.
