Sarah Touzalin Discusses Recent IRS Benefits Overpayment Guidance in Tax Notes

Tax Notes quoted Sarah Touzalin in its article, “Benefits Overpayment Guidance May Require More Labor,” on October 24. Touzalin discussed how there are some unanswered questions that recent IRS guidance on benefit overpayment corrections didn’t cover.

“There’s a need for guidance addressing the new ERISA rules for correcting payments that were added by SECURE 2.0 — specifically, ERISA section 206(h).”
