The U.S. Supreme Court has issued highly anticipated rulings on King v. Burwell, which retains Obamacare's health insurance subsidies for 6.4 million people in 34 states, and Obergefell v. Hodges, which brings marriage equality to all 50 states.
Seyfarth Shaw LLP invites you to attend a webinar on Wednesday, July 8, during which we will analyze these rulings, as well as discuss the implications of each on benefit plan sponsors and employers.
Attorneys in Seyfarth's Employee Benefits and Labor & Employment Departments will address:
- The future of Obamacare following the King decision
- The impact of King on employee benefit plans
- The next steps for employers and sponsors of employee benefit plans following Obergefell
- Other key employee benefits cases on deck with the Supreme Court in 2016
