Seyfarth Celebrates 50 Years in Los Angeles

Seyfarth was featured in a major article in the November 13 edition of the Daily Journal focusing on the firm’s 50^thanniversary in Los Angeles. The story focused on how Seyfarth became one of the first law firms based outside of California to open an office there (in Century City) – “Seyfarth’s decision to open a Los Angeles office was highly unusual” - and how the firm has expanded over the past half-century, including a second office in L.A. (downtown) – “the firm’s long-term commitment to a collection of core values has helped ensure its growth.”

George Preonas, one of the original partners in Los Angeles, and Century City co-managing partner Nicholas Waddles were quoted extensively, noting the firm’s milestone work, innovation, work-life balance, and diversity. “It happens by creating a culture where people are given the opportunity to succeed,” Preonas told the Daily Journal.
