Seyfarth Named 2023 Pro Bono Partner Firm of the Year by Eastside Legal Assistance Program

Seyfarth was named the 2023 Pro Bono Partner Firm of the Year by Eastside Legal Assistance Program, recognizing it as a “law firm that has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to pro bono work.” Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP) is a nonprofit whose mission is to empower people in King County, Washington to achieve fair and equal justice through free civil legal aid and community education.

Since Seyfarth’s Seattle office opened in 2020, over 340 pro bono hours have been recorded to pro bono matters from ELAP, and 18 Seyfarth attorneys have participated in those matters. This has included ELAP wills clinics and tenants’ rights clinics, and also individual housing, asylum, and divorce matters.
