Seyfarth Named HNBA’s Corporate Partner of the Year

Washington, DC (September 8, 2022) — Seyfarth has been named “Corporate Partner of the Year” by the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) for our longstanding support of the organization and our commitment to inclusion and diversity. The award will be presented during the HNBA awards reception at the 2022 Annual Convention.

“The theme of this year’s Convention is Honoring Our Legacy, and we are thrilled to recognize the achievements of our HNBA Familia whose commitment and efforts have built on the honorable legacy of the HNBA over the last 50 years,” said Carlos M. Bollar, HNBA National President. “Our nation continues to face difficult challenges and yet these individuals and organizations consistently do the vital work that positively impacts the lives of many.”

A recognized industry leader in law firm inclusion and diversity, Seyfarth has instituted several award-winning programs designed to cultivate and retain underrepresented groups. The firm launched its own “Rooney Presumption” initiative in 2016 which, inspired by the NFL, has helped improve the hiring of diverse candidates across the firm. In 2020, Seyfarth launched The Belonging Project, a first-of-its-kind nationwide collaborative initiative to proactively combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on inclusion and diversity in the legal profession.
