Seyfarth Names Robin Freeman as Co-Office Managing Partner in San Francisco
New York, March 5, 2025 - Seyfarth Shaw LLP has appointed Robin S. Freeman as co-managing partner of the Firm’s San Francisco office. She will join Christian Rowley in that role to oversee the office’s strategic growth, business planning, management, and operations.

Freeman is a highly accomplished lawyer in the Firm’s Real Estate practice, one of the largest in the country, as well as the leader of Seyfarth’s San Francisco Real Estate group. Her work includes the structuring and closing of mortgage loan transactions for conventional acquisition, permanent, interim/bridge, and mezzanine loan transactions. She is also involved with distressed asset situations and has led many loan workouts and restructurings.
Freeman serves as the co-leader of Seyfarth’s Real Estate and Healthcare Finance Group. She has extensive experience representing healthcare lenders in their transactions with a focus on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals.
Freeman also manages other areas of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, and retail, office, and industrial leasing, as well as coordinating general corporate work for real estate owners and operators. Her representation has included drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and lease agreements.
Freeman is recognized for Real Estate in Northern California by Chambers USA and a Recommended Attorney by the Legal 500. She has been listed in Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White Inc.) for Real Estate Law for the past five years.
Freeman earned her JD from Northwestern University School of Law and her BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
