Seyfarth Receives “Tier 1” Ranking for Labour and Employment in Australia by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021
Seyfarth was listed as a recommended law firm in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021 rankings for Employment Law (Tier 1) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) in Australia. Notably, Seyfarth’s Darren Perry (Sydney) was named to this year’s “Hall of Fame” class.
In addition, Seyfarth lawyers Chris Gardner (Melbourne), Henry Skene (Melbourne), and Paul Cutrone (Sydney) were individually recognized as “Leading Lawyers”, and Ben Dudley (Sydney) and Erin Hawthorne (Melbourne) were recognized as “Next Generation Lawyers.” Justine Giuliani (Melbourne) was recognized as a “Rising Star” in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021's guide to outstanding lawyers in Asia Pacific.

It is at home acting on highly significant advisory matters as well as representing top clients in complex and high-profile litigation. Darren Perry heads up the practice from Sydney and is a market leader in industrial relations strategy and complex employment litigation. Two other market heavyweights (in the Melbourne team) include Chris Gardner, a highly regarded expert in enterprise bargaining, and Henry Skene, a leading name in workplace reform. Another name to note in Melbourne is Michael Tamvakologos, an expert in workplace strategy development work with additional experience in employment restraints. Other experienced team members with active practices include Erin Hawthorne in Melbourne, and Ben Dudley and Rachel Bernasconi in Sydney. The team is jointly led by international employment law practitioner Darren Perry and Paul Cutrone, whose client base includes multinational companies and who has advised on a number of cross-border matters.
