Seyfarth Represents Guardian Capital in $200 Million Sale of CIS Global to nVent Electric

Seyfarth represented Guardian Capital Partners in its $200 million sale of portfolio company CIS Global LLC to nVent Electric plc, a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions.

Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, CIS Global LLC is a leading designer and manufacturer of rack mount technologies, linear motion products and power distribution solutions for a wide variety of industries including the data server and consumer appliance markets. Founded in 1955, the company has over 40 years of experience servicing customers on a global scale with over 15 years of proficiency in low-cost, overseas manufacturing.

Guardian Capital Partners is an operationally focused private equity firm based in suburban Philadelphia with regulatory assets under management of approximately $600 million. Guardian makes control investments in lower middle market consumer products, niche manufacturing, and specialty service companies. Guardian partners with management teams to provide equity capital to fuel the growth of family-owned businesses.
