The 2020 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, published by Woodward/White Inc., names 149 Seyfarth Shaw LLP attorneys as leaders in their fields. Best Lawyers bases its listings solely on a peer review process, in which researchers ask leading attorneys from specific practice areas and geographic regions about the professional abilities of their colleagues. Seyfarth attorneys from ten U.S. offices and 38 practice areas represent the firm in The Best Lawyers in America 2020.

Additionally, Seyfarth partners Sharon Lynn Cook (Atlanta), Richard Alfred (Boston), William Berkowitz (Boston), Mark Casciari (Chicago), Michael Levinson (Chicago), Ellen McLaughlin (Chicago), James Harris (Los Angeles), Ofer Lion (Los Angeles), Mark Grajski (Sacramento), and Jay Connolly (San Francisco) were also awarded "Lawyer of the Year” status, the top honor available from Best Lawyers.
