ATLANTA (October 8, 2012) — On October 13, the Atlanta office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP will once again host and co-sponsor nonprofit World Water Relief’s benefit, “Water is Life,” to provide clean drinking water to schools in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The event will feature a Caribbean menu, entertainment and live and silent auctions. Additionally, arts and crafts will be presented from the Little Shops of Haiti marketplace.
Clay Sparrow, a partner in Seyfarth’s Corporate Department, helped develop the strategy and focus for World Water Relief and has been involved with the organization since its inception.
“We are thrilled to once again host ‘Water is Life” and we proudly stand behind World Water Relief’s mission to provide access to clean water to significantly improve the health and quality of life of people around the world,” remarked Sparrow.
This year marks the third consecutive year in which the firm has hosted the organization’s annual benefit. Seyfarth partner Louann Bronstein, and firm staff including Anne Brown and Janice Goldman, also helped with the event. For more information about World Water Relief, visit www.worldwaterrelief.org.
