Seyfarth Shortlisted for 2020 Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards
Seyfarth has been shortlisted for the 2020 Chambers USA Diversity & Inclusion Awards. The firm is nominated for:
- Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity & Inclusion: This award is for a firm that has shown an outstanding commitment to diversity & inclusion in the legal profession.
- Inclusive Firm of the Year: This award celebrates a firm’s commitment to increasing the opportunities for, and representation of, lawyers that identify with one or more strand of diversity.
- Most Innovative Program for Employee Health and Well-being: This award is for the firm that has made a concerted effort to improve the well-being of their staff. The firm is recognized for its “Inspiration Project” which provides a scholarship to be applied to a Seyfarth employee's inspiration that is focused on health, wellness, lifelong learning, or is intended to make an impact in a community.
- Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year - Cameron Smith: This award is for a partner who is dedicated to pro bono work in the local or global community.
In addition, based on the firm’s nomination, Seyfarth’s client Zynga Inc. has also been shortlisted for the 2020 Chambers USA Diversity & Inclusion Awards. The company is nominated for:
- Outstanding Company for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion: This award aims to recognize a company that is demonstrating measurable impact in advocating for and implementing an inclusive work environment.
- Outstanding Contribution to Furthering the Advancement of Diversity in the Legal Profession - Phuong Philips: This award is for a general counsel that has shown an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
Chambers Diversity & Inclusion aims to promote the advancement of inclusion across the global legal profession through research, training, workshops, forums and awards.
The winners will be announced at the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: USA 2020 virtual celebration on September 24.
