Seyfarth to Sponsor and Stacy Paek and Dana Treister to Speak at IMN’s Forum on Real Estate Opportunity & Private Fund Investing

Stacy Paek, head of Seyfarth’s Los Angeles Real Estate practice, and Dana Treister, managing partner of Seyfarth's Los Angeles office, will speak at the Information Management Network (IMN)’s 20th Annual Winter Forum On Real Estate Opportunity & Private Fund Investing in Laguna Beach, California from January 17-19. Seyfarth is also sponsoring the forum. 

Stacy will serve as a panelist for "Practical Restructurings & Workouts: Lessons from Past Recessions" on January 18. The session will cover when restructurings may make sense, the process for requesting and negotiating restructurings, when to start conversations with lenders, the parties and expertise required to make this process work, what we've learned from past recessions in regards to properties in distress, and what is different now. 

Dana will serve as the moderator for "Senior Debt Financing Outlook", also on January 18. This panel will highlight interest rate trends and if they are the "new normal", current providers of senior debt for the CRE market, when origination could pick up again, what types of deals are being considered and financed in the current environment, and any changes to the types of borrowers or deals that lenders prefer.
