Seyfarth’s Emma Mata Named 2021 “Houston Pro Bono Advocate of the Year” by Kids in Need of Defense

Emma Mata, partner in Seyfarth’s Commercial Litigation and Health Care practice groups in Houston, was named 2021 “Houston Pro Bono Advocate of the Year” by Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). This recognition is based on Matta’s exceptional contributions to KIND cases.

KIND has honored pro bono attorneys who are providing vital legal services to refugee and immigrant children. KIND’s pro bono attorneys are at the core of KIND’s mission and go above and beyond to help unaccompanied children.
