Seyfarth’s Esther Slater McDonald Selected to Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Leadership Academy
Esther Slater McDonald, partner in Seyfarth’s Litigation department in Atlanta, has been selected as a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Leadership Academy (Class of 2020). The Leadership Academy is an intensive leadership program designed to equip attorneys with meaningful and practical leadership skills and to provide mentoring and networking opportunities to allow attorneys to succeed in their profession and communities.
Slater McDonald’s practice is focused on helping businesses find creative solutions to complex problems involving consumer data. She represents companies in various industries, defending clients against claims of unfair competition, false advertising, invasion of privacy, and deceptive trade practices, as well as claims for violations of federal statutes, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
