Seyfarth’s First Generation Affinity Group Featured in The American Lawyer

The American Lawyer (Law.com) featured Seyfarth’s unique First Generation affinity group in its article, “Seyfarth's First-Generation Lawyers Create a First for Big Law,” on July 17. Seyfarth attorneys Laura Maechtlen, Rob Szyba, and Marlin Duro-Martinez discussed the origin of the group, the only one of its kind in Big Law, which consists of members who are the first from a family to hold a professional license, go to graduate school, or even college.
