Seyfarth's Irine Sorser Elected President of the Jewish Council for Youth Services’ Board of Directors
Seyfarth’s Irine Sorser, member of the firm’s Employee Benefits department in Chicago, was elected president of the Jewish Council for Youth Services (JCYS) board of directors. Sorser is currently president-elect and will start her role as president in FY2023. She has served on the JCYS board of directors since 2015.
JCYS provides educational and recreational programs for Chicagoland’s children and, through board service, develops the next generation of Jewish civic leaders. JCYS offers educational, recreational, and leadership experiences throughout the year at their family centers, multiple summer camps, and specialty programs. Programs are designed to nurture each child’s individual spirit, imagination, confidence and talents. You can read more here.
Sorser assists clients in the design and administration of employee benefit plans, offering clients guidance on plan documentation (including drafting plan documents and amendments), plan qualification (including correction of plan operational errors), and participant communications.
