Jay Myers, director of innovation for Seyfarth’s Intellectual Property group, was honored by the International Trademark Association (INTA) with its 2022 Advancement of Association Objectives Award.

The Advancement of Association Objectives Award is given to one or more individuals of a member organization whose participation, efforts, and innovative thinking during the year have advanced: (a) substantive trademark and related IP law and practice; (b) committee or subcommittee objectives; or (c) the strategic objectives of INTA’s Strategic Plan 2022-2025. You can read the objectives of INTA’s Strategic Plan 2022-2025 here and the full list of recipients here.

“INTA has allowed me to develop and nurture so many friendships with colleagues around the world,” said Myers. “While it is no doubt primarily a professional association, INTA provides so much more than that in terms of personal enrichment, career development, and cultural exposure I would not have otherwise had the benefit of.”

The International Trademark Association is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and complementary intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation, and committed to building a better society through brands.
