Shardé Skahan Discusses California's Intersectional Bias Law in Law360

Law360 quoted Shardé Skahan in its article, “California's Intersectional Bias Law Is A 'Game Changer,’” on October 15. Skahan discussed how California’s intersectionality anti-discrimination law will have a tangible impact on how cases are litigated.

“It's helpful to give employers clarity, eventually, about how courts are going to address these issues…Since intersectionality wasn't enshrined in the law, there was some inconsistency with how the cases might be handled, depending on which court you were before.”
