Stephen Poor, Winner of the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Lifetime Achievement Award, Profiled on What True Innovation Entails in The American Lawyer

The American Lawyer profiled Seyfarth’s chair emeritus Stephen Poor, winner of the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Lifetime Achievement Award, in its article, “Seyfarth Shaw Partner: ‘Overcoming the Fear of AI’ Key to Legal Innovation,” on March 21. Poor discussed the past challenges with innovation he has met to enable Seyfarth to lead the way and what legal innovation means to him and the legal industry.

“The main reason to be innovative is to create value for clients. This means not just caring about the client but being able to put ourselves in the client’s position and truly understand the problems they need solved-from their perspective.”
