Webinar Recording: The Future of Arbitration - Part 2: Paradise Lost? The Risk of Mass Arbitration
Please join us for a three-part series in which we analyze the future of arbitration in light of new federal legislation, the ever-changing landscape in California, and the increasing prevalence of mass arbitration. This series will offer pragmatic guidance for employers with arbitration programs or those considering implementing such programs. See below for more detailed information on Part 2: Paradise Lost? The Risk of Mass Arbitration.
About the Program
Employers have largely won the ability to enforce their arbitration agreements. But some plaintiff-side lawyers are trying to turn that success into a new problem: mass arbitration. Using social media and other publicly available information, they recruit large numbers of individual claimants and file huge numbers of individual arbitration demands, thereby imposing on the employer massive arbitration costs. In this webinar, we discuss who’s a potential target and explore options employers can consider to reduce their vulnerability to mass arbitration.
