About the Program

The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) mandates that by December 31, 2024, companies created before January 1, 2024, must submit beneficial ownership information to FinCEN or face civil and criminal penalties unless they qualify for an exemption. With this deadline looming, companies are searching for clear answers as to whether they qualify for exempt status and, if not, what they need to do to ensure full compliance. Join panelists from Seyfarth’s CTA Task Force for insights on exemption criteria, disclosure requirements, and practical strategies to navigate compliance smoothly and avoid last-minute stress.
