The Department of Homeland Security recently issued I-9 and E-Verify guidance in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our webinar panelists—including Guidepost Solutions CEO Julie Myers Wood, former head of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Executive Director of Immigration Policy at the US Chamber of Commerce Jon Baselice—provide insight and information regarding what employers’ I-9 obligations will be as DHS implements this temporary guidance that relaxes certain regulatory requirements in the wake of this emergency.
