He has represented clients in industries including financial services, food and beverage, hospitality, and telecommunications.
Alan handles Equal Employment Opportunity claims under federal and state law, including cases involving breach of contract, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge. He also has extensive experience litigating trade secret and nondisclosure matters, as well as unfair competition and post-employment enforcement of restrictive covenants, arising from employment and fiduciary relationships.
In addition to his litigation practice, Alan regularly provides clients with advice and counsel on a myriad of employment counseling matters, including employment and contractor agreements and nondisclosure agreements, as well as the negotiation of executive employment and compensation agreements. He is regularly asked to advice on the employment implications associated with mergers and acquisitions.
For organizations dealing with traditional labor matters, Alan represents clients in the development and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, positive employee relations strategies, and labor arbitrations. He has also represented employers before the National Labor Relations Board in defense of unfair labor practice charges.
