More About Alex
There are challenges and opportunities at all stages of the commercial real estate life cycle. Alex helps clients realize these opportunities throughout the cycle—from acquisition, financing, construction, and development, to stabilization, leasing, refinance, and eventually disposition. Clients look to Alex for practical guidance and creative solutions to support their business decisions.
The highs and lows of the real estate markets are familiar to Alex, as he began his career at the end of the recession. Working out failed deals has given him insights into how to best protect his current clients. On the flip side, the bull run has allowed him to work on a variety of complex commercial real estate transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine lending, construction financing, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and leasing deals.
Alex represents clients of all shapes and sizes, from local developers to national money-center banks. He has experience across asset classes, including hospitality, multifamily, office, industrial, senior housing, and mixed-use properties. Alex is fortunate to have developed a comprehensive commercial real estate practice with knowledge and experience representing clients on both sides of a transaction. For example, he represents banks in loan originations refinances, but also represents borrowers in need of mortgage and construction financing. The same goes for representing both buyers and sellers, and landlords and tenants. This experience gives him insight into the unique interests and key matters of a transaction, depending on the party that he represents.
To streamline his client work, Alex engages with Seyfarth's technology and project management teams. He continually improves his work product and deal execution through the use of tools designed to support his practice.
Alex is proud to be a member of Seyfarth's impressive and talented real estate team. He is grateful to work for reputable clients on sophisticated, complex deals, and is motivated by the new challenges that most days bring.
