More About Ashley
Ashley is a member of Seyfarth’s ADA Title III & Public Access team. Ashley regularly advises and defends clients in litigation arising under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related California disability access laws. Ashley has successfully represented retail stores, hotels, restaurants, health care providers, and EV companies in ADA Title III litigation in various federal and state courts across the country. Ashley also regularly counsels clients regarding ADA requirements and the creation of compliance policies and training programs to enable clients to avoid or respond to litigation.
Ashley also regularly advises and defends businesses facing discrimination lawsuits brought by customers, visitors, and/or patients under the Unruh Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. § 1981, and related federal and state statutes.
Ashley also represents clients with employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims in the retail, health services, communications, and electric vehicle industries. She has experience in employment litigation matters involving class action lawsuits on wage and hour and Fair Credit Reporting Act issues. Ashley also regularly counsels clients on general employment matters, including meal and rest breaks, wage statement compliance, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee classification.
While in law school, Ashley served as a senior articles editor of the UC Davis Law Review and was president of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Before law school, Ashley gained professional experience in the human resources department of a tire manufacturing company.
