She collaborates with the multiemployer plan team to provide guidance to Fortune 500 companies, boards of trustees, directors, C-suite executives, and senior managers of the largest multiemployer pension and health and welfare funds in the country. These funds have billions of dollars in assets and span various industries, including entertainment, construction, grocery, and hotel, among others.

Ashley stays informed on the ever-evolving requirements of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, DOL regulations, and other federal laws affecting her clients. She also has experience with matters related to the Affordable Care Act, the SECURE Act, COBRA, and HIPAA privacy and security.

Since joining the firm, Ashley has devoted much of her time to advising governmental plans and public agencies, including county retirement systems, police and fire retirement systems, hospitals, and large publicly operated health plans. She has gained experience with local and state rules impacting California employee benefit plans, including CalPERS, PEPRA, CalSavers, OPEB benefits, the Brown Act, and the Knox-Keene Act.

Ashley enjoys her role at Seyfarth and appreciates the opportunity to continually expand her knowledge and skills by working alongside some of the nation's most seasoned employee benefits attorneys.
