More About Bailey
To be successful, businesses must face a complex, ever-shifting landscape of labor and employment laws and regulations. Clients turn to Bailey for guidance on their various labor and employment needs, whether that be single- or multiplaintiff litigation or collective actions. She helps them navigate the complexities of their business, as well as the litigation process.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, Bailey focused on complex commercial claims, with an emphasis on non-compete and restrictive covenant litigation. This work, combined with her experience teaching English in Russia with the Fulbright Program, gives Bailey a unique understanding of the challenges of employers and the international implications of internal business decisions.
As a law clerk with the US Senate Judiciary Committee, Bailey gained first-hand knowledge of how legislative drafting affects both employers and employees in the real world, giving her invaluable insight into how federal and local governments enforce legislation, as well as how judges evaluate cases.
In law school, Bailey interned for the Honorable Henry E. Hudson at the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division, and the Virginia Attorney General. For two summers, she served as a law clerk on the US Senate Judiciary Committee. Following law school, Bailey clerked for Judge Everett A. Martin and Judge Junius P. Fulton, III on the Norfolk Circuit Court in Norfolk, Virginia.
Bailey loves the opportunity to help people—whether counseling them or guiding them through litigation.
